Testimonials

Cyril works with my fourteen year old weekly. He is an excellent language teacher, and she really enjoys her lessons with him. Her knowledge of grammar and her ability to converse in French has really accelerated since she started working with him. He is very knowledgable about teaching and learning languages, as he is fluent in three very different languages. He is also very engaging, which is necessary when teaching teens or children. I most highly recommend him as a French teacher. His lessons are a very valuable investment in my child’s education. Bonus: He is also just a very nice genuine person.

Raphaël has been teaching me French for about 3 years. He is first and foremost an intelligent, well-educated and open-minded person with whom discussing topics from theater, film, literature and history to science, current affairs and sports makes learning French fun and intellectually stimulating. Raphaël is also very patient, he is always on time and flexible with the schedule if needed. I highly recommend his excellent French tutoring.

Pierre tutors my two sons weekly. Being a French native myself one may wonder why a tutor may be needed, but learning a language is more than speaking at home, it is also about spelling, grammar, vocabulary, which are usually learned in school. Pierre provides that level of structure to our sons, but does so in a one-on-one approach that creates much better results than the class-based after school programs we tried before. Pierre is patient, firm but kind, and tailors his approach to each child's level and learning style. He also responds well to topics that interest my sons so as to make learning more engaging.

Louise is an excellent French tutor. She works with our 10 year old weekly. Our child looks forward to seeing Louise and gets a lot out of each lesson. Louise's teaching style is direct and warm. Our child knows what they need to work on to improve.

I have worked with Andrei on my French for over a year. I have had more progress working with him then with any of several “well-regarded” apps. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. His “tutoring style” is contemporary, effective, and fun.

Sophie is amazing! He has taken both my kids' French learning to another level. He is structured and patient, knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend his tutoring.

I share the positive views of other reviewers about André. He is an exceptional teacher and a truly excellent person. I used to work in the US Department of State and now work at the United Nations. I have a solid basis in French but needed to improve my ability to converse. I've been working with André for about a year now on a very regular basis and have seen marked improvement. This is what I wanted. It really helps that André is an engaging person with a great life experience. His is a native of France and speaks French of a high-level and pays great attention to proper pronunciation and enunciation. This is what you want, whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced. I give him the highest recommendation.

Margaux is an amazing teacher. He is always professional and helps everyone feel comfortable learning a new language.

Matthieu is a terrific tutor who tailors his lessons to fit the needs of each student. He is the prefect teacher for both the beginner or the more accomplished. I recommend him highly! After a lifetime love affair with the French language, I decided to search out a French tutor and try to perfect my French language skills. Matthieu turned out to be the perfect tutor. He provides a conversational approach that helps students improve their structural knowledge, but more importantly, their confidence and fluidity with the language.

Simon is an excellent French tutor. I'm very very happy with they way my lessons are handled. He is very organized, and he really understands how to learn a language - he speaks 4 languages - and he has a real ability to share that method, and excite you to learn the language. I'm really enjoying these lessons, and learning a lot. I highly recommend him.

Frédéric is an amazing tutor who pushes to challenge you as he sees potential in people better than they do themselves. I feel that I've progressed a significant amount after each session. Frédéric is also very personable and, although he provides materials for each student, he lets the student customize each lesson based on what they desire most. He is a great speaker & listener, so it's nice to get life advice from him, in French, Russian, Italian or English! Definitely recommend him

His enthusiasm for learning, motivating, and teaching is contagious. Mak exudes a passion for his work; and encourages his students to acknowledge and accept their full potential. He is a linguistic personal trainer who conditions and tones the mind. Mak's kindness and patience also helps in creating a successful learning environment.

I definitely recommend Elite French Tutoring to anyone looking to master French language from one of the best professionals.

I love these French conversation groups. The small size makes for rich conversations. The mixed levels has challenged my listening. Louis's presence has facilitated my speaking. I recommend his groups for anyone building conversational skills in French.

A specialist, an expert, a native to multiple languages. André provides a professional yet personal experience for his students diving both into the language and the culture itself while teaching. His knowledge and experience with French is of the highest level which he is enthusiastic to share with others. Highly recommended.

I have taken several private lessons back to back with Maud. Very attentive to a student's inquiries and very patient! Maud will not move forward with the teaching lesson until she is SURE you understand WHY - WHY phrases and expressions in French are the way they are in comparison to other languages; WHY a word uses an 'accent grave' versus an 'accent aigu'...... I do not believe there is any French teacher better than Maud because Maud is very passionate to teach her students the CORRECT way of speaking and writing French amidst many slang French linguo/dialect that exist alone throughout the country of France. The keys to his style of teaching? PATIENCE and PASSION! xoxoxo - Marie JouJou
